Activities on the Farm

Plant a Sapling

Everyone gets their hands in the soil. Each person plants their own sapling and learns how seeds germinate, how roots form, and why organic compost matters more than any chemical shortcut.

Harvest Your Own Fruits

Depending on the season, your group harvests amla, guava, mango, or banana directly from the trees. Tasting something you've just picked changes how you see food — even for adults.

Farm Waste to Products

See how nothing on our farm is wasted. Crop residues and organic matter become compost and natural inputs — a working, visible example of circular farming in real time.

Feed & Care for the Cows

We care for over 20 rescued cows. Visitors feed them and see how cow dung becomes manure and biogas — closing the loop on the entire farm cycle naturally.

Product Tasting Session

Taste value-added products made right here — amla candy, pickle, juice, and more. See how processing farm produce directly multiplies a farmer's earning potential.

Open Q&A with the Farmer

Every tour ends with an open conversation. Ask about organic farming, our two-decade journey, or starting a kitchen garden. No question is too small or too ambitious.

Weekend Visits

A Day on the Farm

No two visits are exactly alike — but here's how a typical day unfolds.

Step 01
Welcome & Orientation

Arrive and meet the team. A brief introduction to ARB Organic — our 20-year journey, how the farm is structured, and what the day holds for your group.

Step 02
Guided Walk Through the Farm

Walk through the amla grove, mango and banana plantations, the herbal garden, and the living pond. Every corner of the farm is purposeful and connected.

Step 03
Hands-On Activities

Plant saplings, harvest fruits, feed the cows, and watch farm waste become compost. Whichever activities suit the season — your group does them, not just observes them.

Step 04
Tasting & Value Addition Demo

Sample our farm's products — amla candy, pickle, juice — and see the process behind them. Understand how processing raw produce directly multiplies a farmer's earning potential.

Step 05
Open Conversation

Ask anything — about organic farming, careers in agriculture, or starting a kitchen garden. Our founder is always happy to share what two decades on the land has taught.

Areas We Explore Together

Transitioning to Organic

Farming conventionally and want to go organic? We walk through the full transition — timing, soil rehabilitation, certification pathways, and income management during the shift.

Intercropping & Crop Planning

Plan your land intelligently — which crops work well together, how to maximise yield per acre, seasonal rotation, and how to reduce risk by diversifying what you grow.

Value Addition

Raw produce earns the least. We show you how to convert farm output into processed, packaged, market-ready products — exactly as we've done here with amla and other crops.

Building a Profitable Farm Business

Farming is a business. We discuss markets, direct selling, pricing your produce, building a brand around your farm, and creating income that is sustainable and dignified.

Soil & Composting

Healthy soil is the foundation of everything. Composting methods, organic inputs, green manure, vermicomposting, and how to improve soil quality year over year without chemical inputs.

In-Person Farm Walkthrough

Visit ARB Organic Farm and walk the land with our founder. Everything we discuss becomes visible on a real, working farm rather than staying on paper.

20 Years on the Land.
Every Answer Is Real.

Our consultation isn't a textbook session. It's a real conversation with someone who has built a profitable organic farm from one and a half acres — featured in Pasumai Vikatan for that journey.

Whether you're transitioning, starting fresh, or building a farm business — we share what genuinely works, because we live it every single day.
