Our Story

Some journeys begin as a business idea. Ours began as a personal need — to grow honest food, live closer to nature, and build a life where health, farming, and purpose could stay connected.

Organic, value-added, and rooted in purpose

Where it all started

Back in 2005, we bought this farm with a simple intention: to grow our own food, live closer to nature, and create a space that felt honest, healthy, and grounding. We were not chasing scale or trends. We were looking for a better way to live — one where food came from the soil, not from chemicals, and where health did not have to be a compromise.

From the beginning, we were deeply drawn to organic farming. We wanted to grow vegetables and fruits in a way that respected nature instead of forcing it. Over time, that small intention grew into something much larger — a living farm ecosystem shaped by patience, learning, and purpose.

Built with observation, not shortcuts

When we started, the farm was not built around shortcuts. It was built around observation, experimentation, and trust in traditional practices. We slowly developed the land as an integrated farm, where every part supported the other.

We created spaces for crops, planted fruit trees, nurtured herbal plants, and built systems that worked with nature instead of against it. We also maintained a pond, raised fish, and cared for animals on the farm. This was never meant to be a farm that only produces. It was meant to be a farm that lives, breathes, and sustains itself.

Over the years, we tested many methods to understand what truly works on our land. Some things succeeded, some did not, but every season taught us something important. Through this process, we built not just a farm, but a practical understanding of how to grow in a way that is thoughtful and lasting.

Why organic matters to us

Our belief has always been very simple: food should heal, not harm. For many people today, food has become ordinary, but to us it has always been personal. We kept coming back to one question — is what we eat truly nourishing us, or are we slowly getting used to food that harms us over time?

That question stayed with us because health is not separate from food. What we consume every day becomes part of us. That is why we chose a path where we do not use chemical pesticides on our farm. We wanted to grow produce that feels clean, honest, and closer to what nature intended.

To us, a good plate of food is more than a meal. It is the first step toward a healthier life. That thought became one of the strongest foundations of our farm.

Building a living farm

As the farm grew, so did our commitment to sustainability. We use organic manure, cow dung, and natural farm inputs, and we believe strongly in reuse and circulation. What comes from the farm should return to the farm wherever possible. Very little should go to waste.

Today, our farm includes amla, guava, mango, banana, coconut, teak, and a wide range of herbal plants. Each plant has a role. Each corner of the land adds value. Amla, in particular, became very important to us over time and eventually grew into the hero ingredient behind many of our value-added products.

We also care for cows on the farm, including cows that are old, abandoned, or no longer useful in a commercial system. For us, this is not charity for appearance. It is part of our values. Animals deserve care, and the farm should be a place of protection as much as production.

From farm produce to value-added products

As we continued farming, we saw a common problem that many farmers face: good produce often goes underused, gets wasted, or is sold without receiving its full value.

We did not want that to happen with what we grew. We wanted to make sure the goodness of our farm could reach people in a form that was useful, practical, and available beyond the harvest season. That is what led us toward value addition.

Instead of seeing produce as something that must only be sold fresh, we began exploring how to turn it into meaningful products that carry the same natural value in a more lasting form. This was the beginning of our brand journey.

In 2013, the brand took shape with the goal of bringing farm-grown goodness to people in a more accessible way. It was not just about making products. It was about making sure nothing valuable from the farm was wasted, and that the farmer’s work could continue to create value throughout the year.

What we stand for now

Today, our farm stands as a reflection of years of learning, patience, and conviction. We are proud to say that our land remains pesticide-free, and that our farming practices continue to be rooted in natural methods.

Our farm is home to 20+ cows, fruit-bearing trees, herbal plants, and a full ecosystem that supports both farming and sustainability. Amla remains the heart of our product journey. It represents much of what we believe in — traditional wisdom, natural nourishment, seasonal strength, and long-term wellness.

What we have today is not just a farm and not just a brand. It is a working example of how farming can be cleaner, more mindful, and more meaningful when it is guided by values.

Recognition along the way

Over time, our work has been recognized by people and platforms that care about agriculture, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. We have been featured and interviewed by publications and media platforms such as Pasumai Vikatan, Doordarshan, Puthiya Thalaimurai, and News18.

These opportunities allowed us to speak not only about our own farm, but also about a larger message — that farmers can grow better, reduce waste, and create more value through what they already produce.

We have also received recognition through awards and public appreciation for our work in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community impact. These milestones matter to us, but more than recognition, they remind us that this path is worth continuing.

Our larger vision

Our vision goes beyond selling products. We want to show that farming can support a healthier lifestyle, a more sustainable future, and a better standard of living for farmers themselves.

We want young entrepreneurs and farmers to see that agriculture does not have to stop at raw produce. With the right thinking, it can grow into something more stable, more rewarding, and more impactful.

That is why we also believe in sharing what we know. Through farm visits, conversations, and consultations, we want people to experience the land, understand the process, and reconnect with the value of natural farming.

We also care deeply about preserving traditional food wisdom. One of our long-term goals is to help bring attention back to traditional rice varieties and heritage food systems that supported better health in earlier generations. We believe this knowledge deserves to return, not as nostalgia, but as a real solution for the future.

What comes next

As we move forward, our mission remains clear. We want to continue building a brand that stays true to the farm. We want to create value-added products, especially around amla, in a way that respects seasonality, nutrition, and honesty.

We believe produce is at its best when it is grown and used in its natural season, and we want our work to reflect that truth. Most of all, we want to keep proving something simple: that it is possible to grow with nature, care for people, reduce waste, protect animals, and build a meaningful livelihood from the land.

This is our story so far — rooted in the soil, shaped by experience, and guided by the belief that better food can lead to a better life.

From our farm to your life, this journey has always been about creating food and products that feel honest, natural, and worth trusting.
